Permits flexible routing of cable harness while forming a neat, protective bundle. It twists on easily and quickly and allows lead-outs at any point. When installed, it may be gapped for greater economy and flexibility or it may be butted tightly for maximum abrasion resistance, insulation protection, and greater rigidity. Nylon type-for use in wider temperature ranges with high resistance to abrasion and good solvent resistance.
Polyethylene (PE) + Flame Retardant (FR) = (PEFR)
Suitable for applications requiring a self-extinguishing material. Lower cost than polyamide 6 or Teflon materials.
Polytetrafluoroethylene -Teflon (PTFE)
Offers the widest operating temperature range of any material. It's chemically inert and non-flammable.
Polyamide 6 (PA6)
Is recommended for use in enclosed enviroments where the possibility of fire exists. Self-extinguishing. Does not produce, any toxic or irritation, even when exposed to open flame or excessive temperatures. PA6 is six times as strong as polyethylene. Black polyamide 6 features the same properties as natural polyamide 6 with the added benefit of ab ultraviolet absorber so that it can be used in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
